Siller's Host Horn measuring contest

What a great day we had at Mac and Andrea Siller's ranch for the 2024 horn measuring contest. We got to see their set up with their newer longhorn chute. They hosted everyone to a great meal in their guest bar, where we held our annual meeting.

We showed up and everyone greeted one another, meeting new faces and old acquaintances. We go to see as they worked up the cattle through the lanes into the chute. They had a tlbaa approved measuring device they were using that got mixed reviews. Some realized it was necessary while others thought it serious overkill. It looked like it would be great for horns that turned down where you could not get a tape straight, but it seemed it was to long and bulky for the younger animals.
