Let's Talk Youth.
As a father of four I was looking for a way to help them grow in our passion for outdoor ranch life. I am always looking for ways to get them more involved with my passion of outdoor life and animals. With a bachelors degree in Animal science I love all the aspects of ranching. I love to help kids come alive with a passion for animals. My kids have shown at CA state fair for three years now and two in halter after my request for halter classes. Kids don't really care to turn their animals out like the adults seem to prefer.
With a more hands on approach we have got them to pay more attention to their animals and even my 5 year old got to lead a calf which she absolutely loved. My two oldest are in 4H showing their animals at our county fair. If your youth wants to show a longhorn give me a call and let's see what we can do to help at your county fair.
Our youth program I am told has seen better days but we look to grow it and would love to have you on board. As such a large state we can use technology to help make things easier. Here are some pictures of my kids which pretty much makes up the youth program so far. As we grow and get more picture we will add them to this.
